The National Education Welfare Board (NEWB) are the government body assigned to ensure that children are attending school and their welfare is being met.  Schools are required to take an attendance each day.  All absences must be recorded and notified to The National Education Welfare Board.  However, the reason must come in writing from the family.  It may be more convenient for parents to complete and send the note online and below is the facility to do so.
