Creative Schools

We have taken part in the Creative Schools Programme for the past two years. We have had the opportunity to experience lots of different crafts on various trips and through visitors to the school. First class along with third and fourth had a great time working with Ester this year. Ester is a local artist with a background in textiles and is part of the Headford Lace Project. These classes explored fabric, fibre and print, even getting the chance to use a sewing machine and create their own drawstring bags. We can’t wait to have our exhibition when the schools reopen to show off all our hard work!
