Tuam Educate Together is a member of the umbrella organisation of Educate Together schools.

Tuam Educate Together was established in September of 2015 and is a multi-denominational, co-educational primary school with a current enrolment of 63 pupils.  We  are funded by the Department of Education and Science and follow the curriculum as outlined by the DES. We also teach the Learn Together Curriculum where we teach about the main world religions, ethics, empathy and responsible citizenship.

School  opening hours are from 8.50 to 1.30 for infants and 2.30 for children in 1st to 6th class.  We generally communicate with our parents via email. Assemblies are held termly and are an excellent opportunity for the children to showcase their talents and develop their confidence.  We regularly update our Facebook page and our website.

The concept and philosophy of Educate Together is new but growing fast in Ireland.

Educate Together is the patron body of the growing network of schools in Ireland that are run according to the Educate Together Charter. It is an independent NGO that runs schools that guarantee equality of access and esteem to children "irrespective of their social, cultural or religious background," are learner-centred in their approach to education and are run as participatory democracies, with respectful partnership between parents, pupils and teachers.
